About

Jonathon Stout
Jonathon Stout, owner and creator of BadJon Photography, is a six year veteran of all kinds of ‘lifestyle’ photography, running the gamut from family portraits, childhood shots, engagements, weddings, models and bands to still-life, commercial photography, and event coverage. Badjon, as he is known throughout the Charleston area, uses Canon cameras in conjunction with both Canon and Sigma lenses. The studio quality shots are taken with an on-location set up of portable studio lighting for the highest quality of light and finish.
Badjon photography works with The Charleston City Paper for special issues and overflow work, but is well known for promotion and live photos for bands regionally, locally, and/or nationally. For his most artistic of ventures Jonathon enjoys photography ‘as a great creative outlet’ and as ‘my first true love – which I take very seriously’. He also adds ‘I love searching for old abandoned buildings and places, filled with peeling paint, rust, and anything left from years of emptiness. Anything that emphasizes the beauty in everyday life as well as the ample history surrounding us.’
Badjon Photography can be reached for scheduling and/or a list of services at jonstoutphotography@gmail.com.
Prints and framed pieces of the photographs available on the website can be ordered through email as well.
