Old textile mill turning into a mixed use community

a year or so ago i shot a lot of these photos at the Garco mill up by park circle…i am reposting these on this blog, because they are on my old site…and not this one..heres a story that thedigitel.net posted about the development.

    Tear it down to the ground. That mill cost my grandfather and a lot of other’s their life back when they used to manufacture asbestos. Both my grandparents worked there. My mother, aunts and uncle grew up in the old mill village.
