The Lowcountry HighRollers are a roller derby team out of Charleston, they have been quickly progressing in fanbase for the past couple of years now. I’ve known some of them a while and finally found the time to get to one of their matches and try to setup some portraits. I shot some of these after warm ups, and then some before the matches, so some of them show the girls in their natural state. You will also notice that some of them aren’t geared up, mostly because a lot of the founding members are injured and can’t actually compete until they are all healed up…but I’ve still included them (I also didnt get every girl involved…there are about 40+ on the team).
